Every living thing is the center of its world, surrounded by pictures and sounds carried to us from other places and other times in streams and waves.
Wood is chopped in Siberia and sent to the soundtrack of Radio Murmansk on a journey on the rivers Ob, Jenisej, Katanga and Lena. It travels to the ocean, all the way to – and around – the North Pole, until the East-Greenland current leaves some of it on the Icelandic west coast and Djúpavík becomes the center of the world.
